About our Collection

My aunt and uncle lived in Germany for many years, and my aunt started a Hummel collection.
She passed away and my uncle transferred the collection to me.
There are 2,409 Hummels and all of them have been maintained in a safe climate-controlled
environment and most of them are in their original boxes.
This collection includes 67 First edition Hummels.
Our collect includes some Hummel numbers that make the items more valuable.

“/Mel” seen on the two “Box with Sitting Child on Top” means “Rare masterpiece or Artist’s proof”.

This collection has 50 with “/I” which means a large piece.
This collection has 30 with “/II” and 26 with “/III” which means even larger sizes.

The-70th-Anniversary-Collection was released in February, 2005 and July, 2005.
